Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

CIRCLES/ORBS/CELLULAR PAINTINGS I am fascinated by the imagery that makes up our universe. So often we see similar images through a microscope or a telescope. Whether we are study the microorganisms around us, or the cosmic wonders that are being sent back through satellite pictures, we find these orbs and cellular like objects. The universe holds such beauty within and far, far out. Through this series of work, I sometimes draw inspiration by looking at images of healthy cells in the body in Anatomy & Physiology books or Micro Biology texts; and sometimes find NASA images inspiring me. I keep my eyes open to nature and the world around me to draw inspiration for my palette of colors and the layering of circles. I love the...
