This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

The inner critics can maintain a powerful hold on an artist's creative process. This piece was created as a visual ode to my inner critics--the ones that often have faces that look strangely like people I know (including other artists). What will "they" think? Will they like this piece? Will "they" be critical of it? This piece grew out of that internal struggle. Two squares and a circle with a spiral imposed on it are locked in an interaction--but who is the outsider and who is the insider? Behind the circle and squares, a cacophony of looping ribbons intertwine and overlap in an exuberant dance.

Welcome to my portfolio of photography and digital art! Artist Statement: I don't know what exactly it is about abstract art that appeals to me so much. As an artist, I love that I am creating something "ex nihilo," or from nothing. I love the freedom of combining shapes, movement, colors into something beautiful or intriguing that comes purely from my imagination. While I am often drawn to the unique symmetry of the square format for my work, I also work with vertical and horizontal ratios. I love vintage things (especially old cars, old phones and radios, and old cameras), so my photography tends to focus on things like that, though I also shoot macros and other types of photography.
